This event is part of the National Museum of Mexican Art's 2015 Sor Juana Festival. The Sor Juana Festival is dedicated to
Mexico's great Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz (1651-1695), a poet and philosopher who was known as La Décima Musa, and is known as the first feminist of the Americas. The festival presents writers, musicians, dancers and performers from both sides of the border with a special emphasis on women in the arts.
